Exclusive release-- Gabe Radu remix of Gourmandises
I am releasing this remix first only to the fans at this site. I hope you all enjoy it. I had fun incorporating the Moi Lolita strings in a Gourmandises remix.
Let me know what you all think. <embed src="http://www.twango.com/flash/audioplayer.aspx?media=knickfan18.10001&channelnam e=knickfan18.public&autoplay=true" width="145" height="60" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>

I'm really excited to hear a Gourmandises remix, but I can't seem to play the file. Maybe your hosting site is doing something, try a more standard one.

Thanks for letting me know it wasn't downloading there. Try the new file on MediaFire.

I can tell that it was time stretched, but then again Im in a studio :P
Dont really like the conflicting keys. I would have just transposed the vocals into the right key. Last edited by neoific; 07-09-2007 at 05:07 PM.. |

actually everything was transposed... it's the fact that on the 3rd lolita string chord there is some clashing in the original version as well with the piano's and with its own reverb... not sure if it's possible to take out
anyway i took your comments into account and here's a new version... http://rapidshare.com/files/41995065...s_lolita_2.mp3

I recommend anyone that listens to this remix listen on decent speakers with some bass. The groove of the remix I feel is better than the original.

Can you do that with Gourmandises strings + L'alize?

Do you mean the Gourmandises piano riff, Zack?
Anyway, NYMedStudent, there's a lot to like in this remix (and I mean a lot. There's a ton of really cool and creative stuff you've done), but I have a few rather big criticisms. First, I don't really like the crunching sound. Sencondly, I don't like the siren sort of thing. Thirdly, and I know this is a big one, I think it's too slow. I know it's a big thing, but I love how Gourmandises has a fast, upbeat, dancy tempo to it. I like playing it really fast
