Well I thought for sure these pictures were taken in Corsica and I guess the two pictures near the window confirm it.

I assume these pictures were taken today. I didn't check out the hash tags or whatever, but I was surprised by what looked like warm attire for almost mid may there, but then I checked and I guess it only got up into the 60s Sunday.

If I recall correctly they weren't taken today, but some time ago at an event in Corsica that Alizée (& Grégoire obviously) attended. I don't know what it was about. I don't think she would ditch the Blonde look that quick :)

Maybe these outfits are designed to somehow fit in with the theme of the album, and maybe they do fit in but they don't do a thing for her looks. Fashion wise I think she's going in a bad direction at a critical time.

I like these new photos. I think she looks much better here than she has done in the recent videos. I'm not a fan of the blonde hair but I think it looks much better longer as it is here. I didn't like the high waistband skirts in the videos but this one looks a lot better to me. Perhaps it is something to do with the lack of midriff showing? I don't know but she looks much better here in my opinion.

I think Alizee looks good no matter what she wears, but I can't adjust or ignore the tattoos. Snow White with an AK-47? It's like graffiti spray painted across the Mona Lisa. If Alizee were doing drugs, I could understand this. It's obvious, she has a personality behind her public image that we just don't know.

With Mylene she was stable and made no big diffrence in the way she acted, behaved,sang or dressed. But the person that she showed wasn't really her. Since she left Mylene she almost constantly changed her style and still is. It was like she was searching who she is to me. Now she want to hold her DALS succes too much with her tour. It will be a year past DALS and the hype will be over and the greed to see her dancing will be less for the ones who arent big Alizeefans. And without competition her spectaculair dancemoves will be far less attractive I think. To get back to the subject, It seems to me that she is searching who she is to the outside world. In her personal life, after she left some people who were important to her (Jeremy and Mylene) and the birth of Anily she was searching too (what is normal), trying to put the things what are important on her arm. Now, with her being able to fall and be in love she found her private self. As her being a mother I think she always had personality, protecting her child so well.
I don't want to offend someone, I want to make sure you all understand that.

This is a good observation. Maybe Alizee doesn't know who she is, and is struggling to define herself. In show business entertainers are always trying to present a pleasing public image, not only to win the public over but also to protect their privacy. It's a very demanding thing, trying to mold one's personality to what the public demands, to come up with a unique public image that can compete with other entertainers so as to stand out in the crowd while still being faithful to one's self. These, all contradictory demands. It's not surprising when entertainers lose track of who they are and who they want to be, especially if a person is by nature shy to begin with. Although Alizee frequently comes across in public as self possessed and confident, her shyness still surfaces on occasions. Alizee seems quick to tears, and in the video of her with Tal, she appears horribly vulnerable and dependent, like a small child hanging tight to her mother's skirt for security. The video is bizarre. While Tal is being interviewed by a journalist for professional reasons, Alizee is hanging all over her. Really, what are we witnessing? And the tattoos, how do we interpret them--childish cartoons on a middle aged woman? Are they a rebellion against her public image? A self mutilation? A way to put distance between herself and her fans who make too many demands? An expression of her insecurities? An attempt to reassert her motto "forever young"? I really don't know. Who is Alizee?

That video where Alizée was all over Tal was the final show of Danse avec les stars. Alizée had just scored 79 out of 80 from the judges for her Rumba which she performed to Tal's song Pas toi. It was actually Alizée's interview, but she had called Tal over to be with her and Sandrine asked Tal something like how was it to have her song used.

Who is Alizee?

As far as I've observed, she's a very independent woman who loves performing whether it's singing or dancing, loves her daughter, her family, her friends, and her fans. She appreciates her fans and is more accessible to them than many other artists are. She does what she wants and doesn't like being told what to do. She doesn't like to disappoint but realizes that she can't make everyone happy all the time, and she's okay with that.

But that's just my view de jour.

Maybe I see this so clearly (wrong or not) because I dont even like the whole genre Alizee is making. I like hip hop (not the garbage that is populair) where standing for something is important.

It could be interpreted as that. However, the video is a bunch of clips that are edited to support the song being sung. I think the author nailed it (picked the right song to describe what is being expressed).

I think Tal is the sister Alizée never had, but apparently wanted. She is a really good friend.

Alizée is several years older than Tal, and often takes the role of older sister (this was clear during DALS). However, Tal is very smart, and so sometimes Alizée defers to her.

In the DALS portion of the clip where she had just danced, Alizée was bursting with emotion. It was crystal clear in her demeanor. She was expressing a combination of "thanks for helping me get such a high score", combined with "I GOT A 79", combined with "I'm emotionally out of control at the moment", and Tal was a safe harbor for all these expressions. :)

It still resembles the Nazi eagle a lot. Also it can look both ways. And it doesn't make it better that the eagle is sitting on a "O"... it's like only the Hakenkreuz would be missing.

I know Boy London is a huge brand and I don't think they really want to make a political statement but I still think it's a very questionable choice to put this eagle on a shirt. I love this photo.

In the caption she says "We believe." Of course, she is talking about the French team in the 2014 World Cup, which subsequently played today at 3PM eastern time, and beat Honduras 3-0. It was a great game.

By the way, did you spot that she had Gregoire wear blue, and her brother wear red, with her in the middle wearing white. Together they represent the French flag.

It really amazes me some times to think about her and how she thinks of Corsica. She has a place that has a great view of the Blood islands. If they were to announce that McDonalds was going to build a store who's golden arches were going to be directly in her view of those islands, I'm sure she'd be a one man army, hell bent on preventing that from happening. There is also someone very close to her who has a hobby that has a lot to do with beauty and I'm sure most of you know who I am talking about. Yet her and this someone else seem to be totally lost on to why so many people are upset that she is single handedly destroying her beauty. It's incredibly ironic.

That was amazing. It was remarkable the difference. I think it was because when she's dancing she's in her element, her zone, where she's sure of herself and very confident where as when she's being interviewed, as we know she's shy and probably a little uneasy.

Here's a clip from that interview when they started playing Moi Lolita and the audience started clapping to it and she got this beautiful little smile of embarrassment on her face.

They look the same to me. The picture on the boat has more to do with her top or the push up bra she is wearing, the angle the photographer is taking the picture from, and lighting.

If memory serves me correctly, we've seen a lot of pictures over the years which would be posted from the dance studio in the weeks leading up to Les Enfoires which shows she just has a frequent need to get back into shape. Didn't she post several pictures too when she was running to get into shape for DALS? I just think she just isn't getting the exercise she needs, at least that's what I hope it is.

The thing I find attractive about Alizee is that we don't see her getting arrested for drunk driving or getting into a cat fight with some babe in a night club. We don't see her swinging naked on a wrecking ball or running off to rehab for the umpteenth time. After all these years in a business that devours so many souls, she is still a graceful, charming woman. But more, she has an undefinable quality that makes her stand out in the midst of a crowd of beautiful people.

I had mentioned that Disney would make her sound great and when the video came out, I mentioned she did sound great and somebody said with playback she did. Well with those 2 lines she sang here, it sounds like the live version would sound great. I'd love to hear it live.

you're welcome :)

To be honest the upload didn't took so very long because I found a page where you can upload multiple images the same time. Nevertheless it took ages to download the photos because obviously it would be too easy to make the photos available for download with "right click and save"... no. The article with the most picture wasn't working like that. And because I'm not really a computer expert apart from the usual stuff it took me a while to grab all the photos from the source code. Maybe half an hour.

To make it even better I found some really nice photos on purepeople but there I had the same problem and if that's not enough I get several error messages when I tried to get a source code... in the end I had to cancel my Sunday evening movie because after 10 mins I realised that the plot was a bit to complex to do something else the same time... so I either had to turn the PC off and give the movie my full attention or I had to keep on trying to save the files. I choose the second option. So in the end I spend nearly an hour trying to get these few photos. :)) But in the end it was worth it.

But I think Ronny uploaded them later on fb anyway... but at least now I know better for the next time.

It's a photoshop of her face on somebody else's body. The color tone of the face is totally different from the rest of the skin. Considering that there's a decent chance the source photo of her face is from years when she was less than 18 years old, such a photo manipulation is not only in poor taste but also of questionable legality. Unfortunately, there's a lot of other photos like this out there.

She did say in an interview that she has tattoos all over her body, so that opens the door to wild speculation.

Looks like she's driving an old car. Anyone know what kind? Are there any photos of her car in all it's glory? I saw in one blog that said she drove a Ford Mustang, and in 2008 akoww1000 posted a video of her driving a Mustang. I don't know if that was her car. Surely since 2008, she must have bought a new car.

This was at the Mary Do event back in august I think it was give or take a month. There are other pictures that were taken of this car that are not so close up where you should be able to better determine what kind of car it is. Maybe in the Mary Do thread?

The Mustang Clips are excerpts from 'Spychédélicies' which was on a DVD included with the Deluxe Edition of 'Psychédélices' album. It's just a quirky video they made.

A "fair" likeness but one of the major mistakes is the eyebrows. In the lower picture, they look to be painted on where Alizée I believe has already had her own perfectly beautiful, perfectly natural eyebrows.
