Good Idea to get Alizee to come to the US - Page 8

i'm not too sure if madonna would even perform with a world renowned superstar let alone alizee; i just don't see madonna as a person that would collaborate with her. i wouldn't imagine she would be the easiest person to work with, there are a lot of stories about her not being very pleasant in real life.

I agree with you amigo. To start I can honestly say I never liked Madonna, being a child of the 90s and not the 80s I never grew attached to her music. I honestly think Madonna is like a Britney, me saying that as in I dont think shes a great person with strong character like Alizee. I personally think Madonna is a b**ch and is the classic example of "the material girl" she sung about. So in saying this; I dont think it will be easy to get Madonna who is living the high life, to go out of her way to do something for someone else who isn't of much importance to her. To Madonna Alizee is probably just that one spec of a fan and nothing else. I also dont see Madonna as a good role model for little girls/women; she teaches them to scheme and get over on people, to be selfish, and all the negative ideas that go along that line. However I see Alizee as a great role-model for everyone and I really wouldn't want to see Alizee's innocence corrupted by Madonna.
Also is it just me, or does Farmer sort of remind you of Madonna a bit?

Like Hylas1896 said. Maybe do a few performance on Letterman or Jay Leno. Shakira did it by having feat. artist to help her boost her name. I got my old French class listening to her. Now they are hook on her.

Well, I don't know that much about Madonna. Like other artists who have been around a long time, she's been doing some collaborations with newer artists, though they are popular american artists, fine. Still, I don't know much about her, but who knows. I don't really hold it against Madonna if she doesn't want to do a performance with Alizée. It's her life and her choice. I just hope she does because Alizée wants it. Why not bug her about it if one has the means? Well, ok, probably no one reading this will ever have the means, but still.

Though I agree that Madonna is on a high-horse and would probably never perform with Alizée, you should probably realize that she was probably THE role model that got her into this business in the first place, whether or not the 49 year-old performer is a good role model to young girls today. Madonna was in her twenties when both Alizée and I were young, and she definitely influenced tons of girls, including Alizée (and me, but I didn't take up dancing). I'm not sure she was influenced by all of the negative things you talked about, though, but the fun she had while performing and the great songs and dances she did. And also, don't worry about her innocence being corrupted by Madonna now if they did ever get together. If she's done anything to her, it was done a long time ago. Besides, the only comparison I will ever make between her and Britney (because frankly there IS no comparison and the analogy is getting tiresome), is that she is probably "not that innocent" anyway, even if she is a classy, professional woman.

Searching into the web I found this site about Alizee (old news) when she got married and her profile.

It's about Celebs, Gossips and who's dating whom....

So I signed and upload 3 recent pics and her famous video La Isla Bonita.

I think that if we post comments and start to upload videos and news in this site could help us to bring Alizee to America.

What do you think?

^im sorry but im going to have to say I disagree with that.

Also on the Madonna note, I was listening to her interview with Z-100 last week and wow, she was as cold and nasty as can be. Even Elvis was like wow seriously what a b*t*h. He was like "wow she was even nasty for Madonna ; and that's saying something"
