I gotta chime in here even though I don't think I have anything real unique to add. But because of Alizée there's been at least a dozen other French singers I listen to regularly, and Melissa Mars is definitely one of my favorites, I own all three of her albums. I guess I could just go to mentioning my favorite songs:

My favorite song of heres are, Army of Love, Et Alors, Love machine, Papa M'Aime Pas. Also Im same as u hilister, ever since I discovered Alizee I have been listening to lot more of french, and lot more of Russian, Spanish, and some German singers.

Well this is one of those singers you will want to take the time to look into. Just think, if someone posted an Alizée video or one song that you did not like, how much other Alizée stuff you would have missed out on.

Anyway puffyrock2, here's the video I wanted to share with you. Specifically 6:30 - 10:55. It's an EPK that goes behind the scenes, and tells the story of Melissa's second album. I included the whole thing so others don't get turned off by it being too dark, though I know you like that sort of stuff, and so do I.

For reasons I won't go into, this ended up being a real pain in the ass to upload. But it's one of my favorite Melissa Mars videos, so I hope everyone gets a chance to watch and enjoy it! Incidentally, it's exactly what I was talking about here as the sort of thing that could be really helpful in promoting Alizée!

definitely worth looking in to her performances have been fantastic there are a few earlier ones that have a little not so good parts, but she can really rock out

I've gotten A La Recherche de l'Amour Perdu, and its pretty good, and have watched the music vids on youtube. I like the electropop/gothic style she's got going on. Itunes has La Reine des Abeilles, I'll pick that up when I get some money. Can't find Et Alors ! anywhere, though.
