It's kinda funny, but I've taken two years of Spanish (in high school but which I actually used on summer jobs through college), and one year of german (freshman year of college). But because of Alizée and studying French off and on independently as a result, I'm actually much more comfortable faking my way through French now. Even when I spent 3 weeks in Europe (almost exactly half in Germany and half in France) I was much more comfortable reading signs and conversing with locals while in France, despite my formal training in German!

i can still remember some Spansih, so I can half ass my way throught Spanish, but in other languages lol, the other person could be cussing me out and I would probably smile at him lol.
