The name could not be either Jérémy or Annily. As I said, it could be Johan.

If that last letter was a Vav, and if there was another Heh after it, then it could be the name of God JHVH. But it doesn't look like it.

As I mentioned, if it's a name it could be anyone or anything. Because Jewish names don't always correspond to English. My English name is Benjamin, but my Hebrew name is Chaim (חַיִּים). Totally different. If it is a name, I doubt we'll ever know for sure who it refers to unless she tells us.

For what it is worth, supposedly the name Jérémy, of Hebrew origin, means "exalted by JHVH." It was easy for me to look this up, because of the resources cited in my very lonely thread Silly fun with names you'll want to read. Those of you who'd like to believe there are mystical meanings hidden in word patterns might even enjoy the romantic "horoscope" which a linked resource there provides for the pair "Alizée" and "Jérémy." Or maybe you just like reading the stain patterns remaining on emptied Nutella jars instead!

I thought Benjamin WAS a Hebrew name.
