Out of curiosity, what book did you have to read? I had to read so many books for high school... but can't recall what most of them were about! hahaa

Hehe, yep.

I had to read Jacob Have I Loved. My dad said he had to read 1984 when he was my age.. I guess they must have dumbed the curriculum down a lot! I'd actually rather have had to read 1984.

LOL, thanks. The book was actually really easy, and all I had to do was fill out a character development form, write a passage analysis, and a reflective letter to the teacher about my reading experience. None of them really took much thought, haha.

Hey, I read 1984 when I was your age too! And Animal farm. Orwell!

They've dumbed down everything these days. Even the quality of Saturday morning cartoons. I miss the 1990's version of the X-men. I thought of that just now because of the Orwell thing. Straight from my memory:

Guard (sees Beast reading a book): "Haha! Get a load of the mutie trying to read! And look at the title - 'Animal Farm.' HE'S JUST LOOKIN' AT DA PICTURES!"

And then Magneto comes in and just wipes everyone out.
